Before we get into the topic lets talk about how to actually go about buying a vehicle in your business name. Number one step is to get your a EIN and a LLC to go along with it.
Number two you have to get a business bank account.
Number three make sure to start making money with your business. You need some cashflow coming in your business. Have a clear cut reason how you’re going to use the vehicle in the business. Most lenders going to want to know how you plan on using said vehicle before giving you the money. Now with the being said let’s break down the 10 vehicles to purchase through your business credit.
- 2023 Ford F150
This is actually my Wife’s favorite truck on this list. I’m not sure why she enjoy’s these trucks so much but she does. This would be a great truck to buy and write off if your business was in the niche of let’s say construction or maybe helping local people do small moves of one time purchases of big stuff like couches and dressers.
The 2023 Ford F150 goes for around $31,000 starting and some models finance at $423 per month which is really not that bad for a truck this size.
This vehicle is really made for off road driving but it can be used for daily driving also. For this type of vehicle I would rent it out at like an off road track. People love off roading you could probably get a good amount of money just to rent this out.
You could literally create a whole niche business and write the vehicles off. Set up your own off road resort or see If you could rent the truck out to those people that go off roading.
These trucks are my favorite on the list because hey are so classy and mean at the same time. They turn heads at an occasion. I would do a upscale Uber driving with this vehicle or my own limo service. You can rent it out for video shoots and maybe weddings even other upscale events.
This is another classy vehicle that you see a lot on the road. Its probably because business owners are buying them and renting them out to others. You can use a lot of different services online to rent your vehicle out. Like Turo, get around, hyrecar, Travelcar and Avail.
If you’re into saving the environment and want to write off your vehicle also then this vehicle is for you. Tesla Model X is a great vehicle to use for any occasion and business opportunity.
6. Audi Q8
I love Audi’s but the maintenance on these beautiful cars are some of the highest in the industry. With that being the case if you’re going to drive one of these you should at least write them off so at the end of the year so you can lower your tax bill if any.
Just like every other car on this list you can rent these out to people on sites I mentioned before.
7. Range Rover
This is a classic car to me because I didn’t learn about Rover’s until I heard about them in a Rap song. But Range’s are a good family upper class soccer mom vehicle that can also turn into a fly date night whip. Again rent them out to make some bucks in your down time.
8. BMW X6
The only way I would personally get this car is to add it to a fleet of cars to rent out. I’m not the biggest x6 fan but they are great to make income with.
For a classic car that everyone seems to like to drive. These trucks can be great to rent out for low end rentals and make deliveries in. You can absolutely do Uber in these trucks or last mile deliveries for Amazon. These trucks are super versatile.
10. Chevy Tahoe
These trucks are another favorites of mine for business and pleasure. Rent it out to make extra money or ride it to work. Either way its a great truck to put in your business name.
