Even if they don’t have series’ running in the same magazine anymore, My Hero Academia manga creator Kohei Horikoshi and World Trigger manga creator Daisuke Ashihara remain friends. Enough so that Horikoshi drew World Trigger‘s Rei Nasu and Yoko Katori as a present to Ashihara, which kindly let the official World Trigger Twitter account post on August 13 to help us “not let the coronavirus and heat stroke get the best of us.”

You can clearly see Horikoshi’s distinct style in the above illustration, making me wonder … what would a chapter of World Trigger look like under the style of My Hero Academia? Hopefully one day we’ll get to see that crossover!
Both World Trigger and My Hero Academia have announced more TV anime on the way, with neither having announced a date as of yet. Though OVA’s for My Hero Academia is hitting Crunchyroll on August 15! Both anime series can be streamed on Crunchyroll right now, if you need something else to help you get over your heatstroke.
