WASHINGTON—House Democratic impeachment managers filed their first documents in the coming Senate trial, outlining how they plan to make the case for removing President Trump from office.
The Democrats’ 111-page document, filed on Saturday, outlines the case the seven impeachment managers plan to present to senators when the trial begins on Tuesday. In the filing, House Democrats tell senators, who serve as jurors in the trial, to follow the Constitution and “rise above partisan differences” as they hear the case.
