So can you imagine A Big YouTube Star turned professional boxer by the name of Jake Paul. To fight a professional UFC fighter turned boxer by the name of Tyron Woodley.
How much that money would bring in well the boxing industry did and they made off like a fat cat in the back alley of a New York City Restaurant. Now I’m not sure how much pay per view money was brought in but we do know how much each fighter was paid to fight.
So without further a do Jake Paul and Tony Woodley both made $2 Million dollars. That is a lot of dough my friend!! In Jake Paul’s last fight he made $690,000 so yeah he’s come up a bit since his last bout.
The other fight purses on the under card for that night was considered pennies in comparison to Paul and Woodley purses
- Amanda Serrano ($75,000) def. Yamileth Mercado ($45,000) via unanimous decision
- Daniel Dubois ($100,000) def. Joe Cusumano ($111,000) via KO
- Montana Love ($60,000) def. Ivan Baranchyk ($60,000) via TKO
- Tommy Fury ($15,000) def. Anthony Taylor ($40,000) via unanimous decision
So yeah I hope that these fighters are investing passive income opportunities that’s so they don’t have to keep putting their bodies through all this rigorous training and fighting. Even though I know folks who just love the thrill of boxing but it’s still a dangerous sport.
And money comes and goes. It’s our job to do the right thing with our money. Even when you are getting lump sums like Jake Paul is getting.
