How To Start A Food Delivery Business

There are two different business models
When it comes to the food delivery business

There is a brick and mortar model of starting and running your own food delivery business. Then there is a online business model.
For the brick and mortar version. You will first need to get your llc then start contacting all the restaurants in your immediate area and offering food delivery.

For instance there are a bunch of Chinese restaurants that don’t have a food delivery business. I would contact these locations and offer my services to them.

Get your domain name and hosting. Put together a site that has all the menus of the restaurants on it. Then you can have customers purchase the food through your website. Charge a extra $2 – $5 fee for delivery.
Then you contact the restaurants that the customer ordered from and you place the order for them and you go and pick it up and deliver it.

Now your in business.
The only problem with this business model is that you will have to start to hire food delivery drivers.

It’s hard to get good people and if you don’t have enough drivers you will need to get out and drive yourself. Which can be a pain when your first starting out and trying to build the business.

The other business model is signing up to
Every food delivery company that are available in your immediate area.

Now these businesses are always looking for more drivers so you can take it upon yourself to market their business as an affiliate.

You would create a simple website focusing on the part time gig industry and place the list of companies that are potentially hiring on your website.

You direct people to your website and have at least 5 different articles focusing on different keywords.

Then you can add a link that is coded to your affiliate link and when people sign up and start making deliveries you will start making affiliate income.

Then after a while you can easily stop delivering food and just have affiliates working for you.

I personally love the 2nd business model because once you start getting the ball rolling it starts to become pretty lucrative and passive income.
