Now you will need to Purchase equipment and software, such as headphones, foot petal, microphone, medical billing and coding reference books, medical billing software, digital recording software, medical transcription software, invoicing and bookkeeping software.

Don’t worry all this is something you can write off on your taxes to recoup some of your money.

How To Market Your Medical Billing Business.

Now that you have your equipment ready and all that. You will need to market your services to physicians offices, hospitals, clinics and other medical professionals. Create fliers and brochures that include your business name, contact information and medical billing and coding experience. Attend local networking events, medical conferences, medical trade shows or other events that medical professionals in your area may attend. Join local business organizations

To speed up the marketing you can also go to USPS and set up a EDDM. This stands for Every Door Direct Mail. They literally will deliver flyers to every house or business located in a zip code
that you pick.

Its very easy to do and affordable. This will help you build your business faster without you having to do all the man hours of actually going to networking events and things like that.

Even though these business events are still really good but when your first starting out you might not have the time nor the money to go to these events.
