Original Earth Defense Club Releases “Boys Go Straight” Music Video to Cheer Up People

The magical boy-featured anime franchise Cute High Earth Defense Club has posted a special clip titled “From Earth Defense Club to Everyone” on Pony Canyon’s official anime YouTube channel.

The three-minute and 40-second video features “Boys Go Straight” performed by the five members of the original Earth Defense Club, who appeared in the first two TV anime in 2015 and 2016, as well as the OVA in 2017: Yumoto Hakone (CV: Kazutomi Yamamoto), En Yufuin (Yuichiro Umehara), Atsushi Kinugawa (Kotaro Nishiyama), Io Naruko (Yusuke Shirai), and Ryuu Zaou (Toshiki Masuda).

The song was originally included in the CD single of the TV anime second season’s OP theme “Futten Toppa☆LOVE IS POWER☆” released in July 2016 as its coupling song.

The message attached to the video says, “An invisible strong enemy has appeared, and we have been struggling every day. But we think they would tell everyone like this, ‘Let’s get up again and again, Draw a big dream.'”
