Lawmakers are set to question Postmaster General Louis DeJoy in a Senate hearing Friday amid complaints from some constituents and businesses about delivery delays and concerns particularly from Democrats about possible disruption to vote-by-mail ballots this fall.
Mr. DeJoy, who has been at the center of controversy over efforts to curtail costs at the U.S. Postal Service, is scheduled to appear Friday morning before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, controlled by Republicans.
