Even though a bunch of creators are using Tiktok just as often but YouTube is still king when it comes to video content. I’ve literally built my business around posting content on Youtube.com
This is how I’ve created passive income and I get my blog traffic. It’s so easy to create financial freedom with YouTube. It just takes a clear objective of what Your content is and consistency over time. I know its simpler said then done but I’m going to list the 10 ways to create income on YouTube.
- Ad Revenue Share
I know most creators give the ad revenue program a bad rap but in actuality getting to the minimum requirements are not hard as most make them out to be. You’re going to meet the requirements at some point while you are on your Youtube Channel Growth journey. So you might as well join the movement.
- A minimum of 1,000 Youtube Subscribers
- At Least 4,000 Hours of Youtube Watch time generated in the last 12 months.
- Live where the Youtube Partner Program is available to creators.
- Have no active community guidelines Strikes on your channel.
- Have a linked Adsense account
- Have Two-factor Authentication enabled.
All in all the Ad revenue program is one the most semi passive income streams of income you will ever make.
2. Super Chat
If you’re the type of YouTube that goes live on a regular basis then this is a great opportunity to add an income stream through YouTube. Basically Super Chat allows viewers to donate to your movement when you do a live stream. Viewers can purchase a
Super Chat message with a credit or debit card during the stream. Youtube will highlight that viewer’s message on the live chat screen once the payment has been processed. Donations can be anything from $1 to $500 per day up to $2000 a week. 30% of the money will be kept by Youtube from a Super Chat donation.
3. Super Stickers
This income stream is kind of weird to me but viewers of your YouTube Live stream chat can pay to use a particular image to appear on a Youtube live stream chat. The designs range from food, beauty, fashion and music.
Super Stickers come in a range of prices between 99 cents to $50. As per usual Youtube keeps 30% of each donation.
4. Super Thanks
This feature is different from super chat and super stickers. This is much more like tipping your YouTube creator for have good content. You use this feature on videos that have been uploaded and not live streams.
The Super thanks feature is available to all Youtube channels that are enrolled in the Youtube Partner Program.
5. Youtube Shorts
It used to be that Youtube had a certain fund specifically for shorts but now they have added Shorts to the Youtube PartnerProgram so you can actually get paid off of ad revenue. Right now Shorts are given $0.01 per thousand views. So its not much but it’s a short so how much you think you would get paid?
6. YouTube Premium
I used to think that when Youtube created a premium service that it would hurt the creators on the channel but in reality it didn’t. It actually gives us more opportunity to gain income because you get a revenue share of the monthly subscription fee for Youtube premium. So it’s a win win.
7. Channel Memberships
This is a interesting way for creators to get paid on YouTube because you can literally charge for exclusive content and don’t have to sign people up to a separate platform of any sort. I think channel memberships are really good for creators that are teaching things like business coaches, guitar platers, piano lessons. It could almost be any niche under the sun. You create the exclusive content package it up and charge a monthly fee through Youtube.
The maximum you can charge for your membership is $49.99 per month. YouTube will deduct 30% of your over all revenue. That seems to be the only real downside to the program.
8. Merch Sales
This another cool way you can make revenue with your Youtube channel. Some channels can actually sell directly through the Youtube platform and smaller channels can sell through posting a link in the description box because the channel hasn’t gotten to the level needed by Youtube yet. I personally use Spreadshirt to sell my Wealthbuilderz Merchandise.
9. Brand Or Sponsorship Deals
The best thing about brand deals and sponsorships is that they can easily make you money and you don’t need to have 4000 hours of watch time or a 1,000 subscribers. The bad thing is that you won’t get paid that much until you start to make it to these levels of followers and watch time.
10. Affiliate Sales
This is another great way to make money from the start of your YouTube journey. You don’t need to have a bunch of followers or watch time to make money with Affiliate marketing but you don’t need to have some type of audience that is engaged with your content. You can easily sign up to affiliate sights like Amazon.com which is the most popular for beginners. You can also sign up to sites like JVzoo, Warriorforum and Clickbank.
These are free and also beginner friendly. Affiliate marketing is actually my bread and butter. I pull in some great income just from affiliate marketing.
11. Build Your Email list! (Bonus)
I told you if you stayed to the end I would hook you up with a bonus well here it is.
Email marketing has been my gate way to financial freedom and not because it’s a magical door to money or anything like that but because email marketing is the easiest way to keep your audience engaged.
For instance, if you create a video on Youtube not all of your subscribers are going to see it. Some won’t get notifications and some won’t see it show up in their video feed. So the next best thing to do is to do a email blast to the list you’ve built through Youtube.
This is simple as creating a freebie to give people when they click on a link and provide their email for. Over time you will create a email list of people you can email on a daily basis. Update them about new videos on your Youtube channel and you can also sell them things in their inbox.
This is by far one of the best usages of your time on any social platform especially YouTube. If you want to learn more check out the link below and get my free guide on how to build a list through Youtube to make passive income.
